I did another layout today. I hope that by doing scrapbooking more often, even if its just a page that I can get caught up!! This page brought back some sad memories. I'm glad that Makayla's hair has grown back and neither of them have any layers anymore.

These pages have 29 pictures on them. Janika's teacher was so awesome. After school was out she sent us 2 cds with pictures on them that she had taken throughout the year. I went through those cds and included several pictures. Only 2 pictures on this page are from me (1st day of school and new glasses). I was really impressed with getting this many pictures on a page and it turning out so well. Thanks to my wonderful photo printer that allows me to print smaller size pictures. I think it is one of the best things I've bought. The print quality is awesome!!

New Pages & Goals!!

Wow I can not believe it has really been that long since I have scrapbooked or posted them on the blog. I thought for sure I was just behind on my blogging, but nope its really been that long. Wow!! I must say a lot has been happening in my life that has kept me from it, but I'm hoping things are settling down enough to scrapbook more often and on a regular basis. I have some catching up to do!!!
I have made it a goal to get caught up on my scrapbooking at least within 6 month to a year. I do not want to be more than a year behind. I want to catch Janika and Makayla's books up to the point I am at with Kierra's (being Kierra wasn't born yet in the pages I'm working on for them, she is much farther ahead). There I have posted it and I hope to accomplish it!!!
Here are the latest pages I have done. I worked on these pages (Janika & Makayla) at the same time, rather than doing one then copying the other one. I must say I liked it better!!! Not sure if it really saved time, but it worked for me. I'm posting both pages of each, so it will seem like there are duplicates, but there are a few differences.

I took the idea of stripes for the background from the shirts in the pictures. I use the clothing in pictures as an inspiration for my pages a lot.
